People or situations don't make us unhappy, it is the thoughts we have, that make us unhappy.

Our thoughts create a barrier to stop us from connecting with our authentic self. Next time you find yourself getting unhappy, don't allow your thoughts to weave a story of suffering. Instead, observe what is fact. Focus on being more aware of what you are thinking and the emotions your thoughts are causing you to have. When you can stop the process of your thoughts, you stop the process of suffering.

Try to be more aware of how your thoughts create emotions, try to see how they are linked and move behind, or under, your thoughts and there you will find a completely different realm which offers you insight with compassion, love and joy.

For today, focus on the process of your thoughts and stopping yourself from aligning with those thoughts which cause you suffering.
